About the Real Ale 5k

This beer run starts and finishes at the beautiful Real Ale Brewing Co. Once you’re done running, hit the tasting room to collect your souvenir finisher pint glass and start enjoying some great craft beer!

What you get for the buck

Your entry includes a custom finisher glass, four 8-oz tastings of Real Ale’s finest, an official race performance fabric shirt, and a well-marked and supported course. Also:

Awards

Top male and female overall and master (40 and up) winners will receive custom awards designed just for beer lovers! Custom awards also go to the top three male and female in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and up. YOU WILL LOVE THESE AWARDS. We will hold a random drawing for souvenir awards AFTER the competitive award ceremony.

The Course

The course runs south through rural farm roads and back to the brewery. One aid station at the 1.5 mile point will be manned by our non-profit beneficiary, Friends of Blanco State Park, with volunteers serving water and sports drink.

Holiday Costume Division

Dress in your festive best and enter the holiday costume contest! Top 5 male and female winners will take home special prizes!

Packet pickup

Real Ale Brewing Co. on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4-7 p.m.
Race day at the brewery from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.

It’s free and there’s plenty of it. Please follow all volunteer parking instructions.
