The Course-
The 10K run starts and finishes at Wedding Oak winery and runs through downtown and out to the Wedding Oak historic tree/ monumnet. Then runs along farm roads and onto shady bike paths, through San Saba City Park and back to the brewery. The 5K will run a modified version of the 10K course. Strollers welcome. All runners receive two wine tastings or two glasses of wine. We will also have beer available for non wine drinkers and friends and family (with proper ID)
About This Event
Both chip timed races start and finish at Wedding Oak Winery in San Saba, Texas. The 10K runs a loop course through downtown, out to the Wedding Oak, through the city park and back to finish near downtown. There will be fully stocked water stops along each course no more than 2 miles apart.
Post race festivities include wine tasting, free beer and finisher wine glass. Â All runners receive a technical shirt and etched wine glass with race logo, and delicious food. This is a BIG bang for the buck!
